What data do we keep and why do we need it?

• NAME and AGE: basic information that helps me get to know you

• ADDRESS, EMAIL and PHONE NUMBER: so we can stay in touch; let us know which contact method you prefer

• EMERGENCY CONTACT / MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL DETAILS: we may need to reach out to your emergency contact or medical professional if we are worried you are at risk to yourself or others. We will let you tell you if / when we make the call. 

• SESSION NOTES: we keep brief notes from our session(s), which are written and stored in privacy-protected, medical software used by health professionals called Practice Better.  

• TRANSFORMATIONAL RECORDINGS: if you complete a hypnosis session, Carey may record a positive, affirmation-like recording for you to listen to afterwards. We will send this recording to you to support growth and transformation, and will delete it in our records after five (5) days.
  

Do we share your data?

We will not sell your personal information or use it for unethical reasons. As required by law, we may have to share our notes if they are subpoenaed by a court, or if you are at risk of harming yourself or others.

How will we store your data?

We use Practice Better medical software to protect your session notes, recommendations, medical records, etc. Only Love of My Life Energetics, LLC professional staff will access your information. 

How long will we store your data and how do we dispose of it?

 We are legally required to keep your session notes and details for seven (7) years. After this time, we will destroy any document that includes your personal information, as well as delete your phone number from our records.
